Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of TechLead Institute's website and educational services. By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and users of our educational programs and online platforms.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
1. Definitions
"Service" or "Services"
Refers to IT project management courses, training programs, educational content, and related services provided by TechLead Institute.
"User," "Student," or "You"
Means any person accessing our website, enrolling in courses, or using our educational services.
"Content"
Includes all text, images, videos, course materials, assessments, and other educational materials provided through our services.
"We," "Us," or "Our"
Refers to TechLead Institute, a Cyprus-based educational institution.
2. Educational Services and Enrollment
Course Enrollment and Eligibility
- Students must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our courses
- Certain courses may have prerequisite experience or educational requirements
- Enrollment is subject to course availability and instructor capacity
- All enrollment information must be accurate and complete
- Students are responsible for maintaining current contact information
Course Access and Duration
- Course access begins on the official start date specified in enrollment confirmation
- Students have access to course materials for the duration specified in course descriptions
- Extended access may be available for additional fees at our discretion
- Course schedules and content may be modified to improve educational quality
Payment Terms and Refund Policy
- Course fees must be paid in full before course access is granted
- Payment plans may be available for qualifying students with prior approval
- Refunds are available within 14 days of course start date, minus administrative fees
- No refunds are provided for courses more than 25% completed
- Corporate training and custom programs have separate refund policies
3. User Conduct and Responsibilities
Acceptable Use Policy
Students and users agree to use our services responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws. The following activities are prohibited:
- Sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons
- Copying or distributing course materials without permission
- Disrupting online classes or discussions
- Submitting false or misleading information
- Attempting to access restricted areas or data
- Using services for commercial purposes without approval
- Harassing or discriminating against other users
- Violating intellectual property rights
Academic Integrity
- Students must complete all assignments and assessments independently unless group work is specified
- Plagiarism, cheating, or academic dishonesty may result in course dismissal without refund
- Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of assessment materials
- Citations and references must be provided for external sources used in coursework
Account Security
- Students are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials
- Account sharing is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination
- Suspicious account activity must be reported immediately
- TechLead Institute is not liable for unauthorized access due to compromised credentials
4. Intellectual Property Rights
TechLead Institute Content
- All course materials, content, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of TechLead Institute
- Students receive a limited, non-transferable license to access content for personal educational use
- Course materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes
- Screenshots, recordings, or copying of course content is prohibited without written permission
Student-Generated Content
- Students retain ownership of original work created during courses
- TechLead Institute may use anonymized student work for educational and promotional purposes
- Students grant permission to display their work in course portfolios and testimonials
- Student work must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
Third-Party Content
- Third-party materials used in courses are subject to their respective licenses and terms
- Students must comply with third-party licensing requirements for software and tools
- TechLead Institute provides access to third-party content for educational purposes only
5. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Service Disclaimers
Educational services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide high-quality education, we do not warrant:
- • Specific career outcomes or salary improvements
- • Availability of job opportunities in your field
- • Success in professional examinations or assessments
- • Compatibility with all technical environments
- • Uninterrupted access to online platforms
Limitation of Liability
TechLead Institute's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Cyprus law. We shall not be liable for:
- • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- • Loss of profits, business opportunities, or professional advancement
- • Damages exceeding the amount paid for the specific course or service
- • Technical issues, platform downtime, or data loss
- • Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
Force Majeure
TechLead Institute shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, technical failures, or other unforeseeable events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or appropriate compensation.
6. Termination and Suspension
Termination by Student
- Students may withdraw from courses subject to our refund policy
- Written notice of withdrawal must be provided to our student services team
- Access to course materials will be revoked upon withdrawal confirmation
- Partial completion certificates may be available at our discretion
Termination by TechLead Institute
- We reserve the right to terminate enrollment for violation of these terms
- Non-payment of fees may result in suspension of access
- Academic misconduct may result in immediate termination without refund
- Disruptive behavior that affects other students may result in removal
Effects of Termination
- All access to course materials and platforms will be immediately revoked
- Outstanding fees remain due and payable
- Confidentiality obligations continue after termination
- Student data will be handled according to our privacy policy
7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt informal resolution of disputes through direct communication with our student services team. We are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly.
Mediation and Arbitration
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Cyprus commercial arbitration rules. This process is designed to be faster and less expensive than traditional litigation.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the competent courts of Cyprus. European Union consumer protection laws may also apply where relevant.
8. General Provisions
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through email notification and prominent website notices. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions shall be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our privacy policy and course-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechLead Institute. No other representations or warranties shall be binding unless made in writing.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. TechLead Institute may assign these terms in connection with business transfers or corporate reorganizations.
